Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Convenient Laboratories, LLC d/b/a Let's Slide Twin (“Let's Slide Twin,” “we,” “us”), 1800 Pembrook Dr, Suite 300, Orlando, FL 32810. They govern your use of the Let's Slide Twin mobile app, the website at letsslidetwin.app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service to navigate a vehicle, you must hold a valid driver's license where you are driving. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Drive safely. You are responsible for your driving.

• The Service is a navigation aid only. Always obey traffic laws, posted signs, road conditions and instructions from law enforcement, even if they conflict with the Service.
• Set your destination before you start driving. Do not handle your phone while driving except as permitted by law; use voice controls and a mounted device.
• Routes, traffic, travel times, speed limits, lane guidance, business locations and crowd reports may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Use your own judgment. Do not follow a route that is unsafe, illegal or impassable.
• The app's voice uses informal, humorous language (“slang”). It is entertainment layered on top of navigation and is not advice. The on-screen street name and distance are the authoritative instruction.
• Reports about police presence are provided to encourage safe and lawful driving. You may not use the Service to evade law enforcement, to commit any crime, or to drive unsafely.

3. Your account

Some features may require an account or a sign-in through Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device and credentials secure. Tell us promptly at info@convelabs.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans. Let's Slide Twin is offered as an auto-renewing subscription at $9.99 per month, and an ad-free plan (“Slide+”) is planned at $14.99 per month. Prices shown in the app at the time of purchase control and may vary by country or change over time with notice as required by the app store.
• Free first trip. Your first navigation trip is free and does not start a subscription. After that, turn-by-turn navigation requires a paid subscription. No free trial is offered.
• Billing through Apple and Google. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel and manage. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for app store purchases directly.

5. Crowd reports and other user content

The Service lets drivers report things like police presence, accidents, construction and road hazards, vote on whether reports are still there, and rate voice lines (“User Content”).

• Only report what you actually see, and only when it is safe and legal to do so (for example, by voice or by a passenger).
• Do not submit false, misleading, harassing, hateful, sexual or illegal content, personal information about others, or content that identifies a specific private individual or a specific officer.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to use, store, display, aggregate and share your User Content to operate and improve the Service. Reports are shown to other drivers without your name.
• Moderation. We may automatically expire, hide, edit or remove any report or other User Content at any time, for any reason, including based on votes from other drivers, location or time, or our review. We may limit or suspend reporting for accounts that submit repeated false or abusive reports. We do not guarantee that any report is accurate or that it will remain visible.

6. Ads and local businesses

The Service may show advertisements and promotional placements from local businesses, which may be targeted to your approximate location while you use the app (for example, a business near your route). Ads are designed not to appear during a maneuver. Ad-free access is available with Slide+ when offered. We are not responsible for the products, services or claims of advertisers; your dealings with them are solely between you and the advertiser. Advertisers are subject to separate advertiser terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by law; (b) scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Service, including map data and reports; (c) interfere with or overload the Service; (d) use bots or automated means to submit reports or votes; (e) resell or commercially exploit the Service; or (f) use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including map, routing, traffic and search data (such as Mapbox and its data sources, including OpenStreetMap contributors), text-to-speech providers, and Apple and Google app stores. Your use of those features may be subject to their terms and attributions, which we display in the app where required. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the app, the voices, voice lines, phrase packs, brand, logos and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store terms. “Let's Slide Twin” and the logo are our trademarks.

10. Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation, and if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims; Apple is not responsible for investigating or defending third-party intellectual property claims; you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ROUTES, TRAFFIC, TRAVEL TIMES, REPORTS OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR SAFE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY TRAFFIC CITATIONS, ACCIDENTS, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR DRIVING OR YOUR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your driving, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described on our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you and we consent to personal jurisdiction there. 16. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
